shadows lurk inside themselves
Every corner another mystery.
"To be free we must be lost," you said
"inside one another; lovers."
A frightening reality draws me to your
Bright eyes that guide.
No more worries about future,
we'll throw away regrets of the past
only wondering
"if..."
...and can two Hearts beat together?
I'll show you when we escape.
The Dawn A crowded room filled with only them,The Dawn by ~Ash-Rose
at a masquerade that burned the night away.
Their eyes met during a sweet epitome,
sending their heads spinning, leaving their hearts to guide.
Though new at this dance they claimed it was forever;
a kive tgat would always burn bright.
As the night grew old and weary of their young love
the silhouette of the two lovers embracing stained the walls
dancing until the light of damn.
But when the morning had come the shadows had faded
...as had their hearts.

we broke in two,
and our seperate souls flew apart.
For an eternity I wandered aimlessly through fog
yearning to be whole again.
I traveled far,
far away from myself.
When on the brink of failure you came to me
Huddled, almost out of sight.
You were lost within yourself, confused,
a perfect creature holding my heart.
Reaching out my hand I begged
to embrace you.
A promise of safetyis all I have to offer,
protection from your own dark mind.
Whispers drip from the lips-
Come slip
Night In Your Eyes Something draws me into the ocean, maybe it was the waves crashing at my feet.Night In Your Eyes by ~Ash-Rose
Lost,I kneel down, and wet sand runs through my fingers
as I absorb the starlit night.
Almost dawn, my eyes close briefly, and the feeling of dusk lingers.
The waves crash harder and I see a crescent of light,
it's the moon glowing purple in the predawn skies.
This place seems all safe and silent;
but can not compare to the haven in your eyes.
I creep up slowl, perching on a rock as I dry.
My heart stays warm though the water is ice,
thoughts of you ahve the power to melt whatever has frozen me.
Hope tells me to wait, logic says to think twice.
